2002 British film based on the life of Factory Records founder Tony Wilson, who discovered Joy Division, New Order and The Happy Mondays, as well as the Manchester nightclub The Hacienda.
Steve Coogan starred as Tony Wilson. The film also starred John Simm as Joy Division/New Order guitarist Bernard Summer. The cast also included John Thompson, Ralf Little and Andy Serkis. Directed by Michael Winterbottom.
The film was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival.
