2002 hit feature film starring Hugh Grant as Will, an immature cynical man who goes to an event for single parents to meet single women, but whilst there meets little boy Marcus, the son of Fiona who suffers from depression. Marcus soon discovers that Will has no children and blackmails him to go out with his mother, who Will has no interest in.
Also starred Toni Collette, Rachel Weisz and Nicholas Hoult. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay as well as two Golden Globe and two BAFTAs.
The film is an adaptation of the 1998 novel by Nick Hornby.
Sharon Small played Christine, one of Will's friends who despairs over his immature behaviour and single status.
