2022 Netflix film about a gifted young black singer called Beauty whose life changes radically when she is offered a lucrative recording contract. As her star rises she finds it hard to hold onto her true self whilst pulling away from her oppressively religious parents.
The film was loosely based on Whitney Houston's rise to fame.
Starred Gracie Marie Bradley in the title role, alongside Sharon Stone and Micheal Ward who played Cain.
