David Morrissey stars as local entrepreneur Ripley Holden who opens an arcade in his Blackpool home town in this musical drama series from the BBC. His public and private life starts to fall apart when a young man is found dead in the arcade and Holden is suspected of the murder. Also starred Sarah Parish, David Tennant and Steve Pemberton. The series was BAFTA and RTS nominated, as well as being winner of the Best Mini-Series and the Grand Prize at the Banff Film Festival. It was also nominated for a Golden Globe under its American title 'Viva Blackpool'.
