RSC production, directed by Adrian Noble which ran across the summer of 2003 at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. The play tells the story of Brand who is a priest with extreme and uncompromising views who will not relax his morals or give in to any form of self indulgence, even though it leads to him having a miserable life. Brand was played by Ralph Fiennes, starring alongside Claire Price and Alistair Petrie.
