Chariots of Fire (Hampstead Theatre & Gielgud Theatre, 2012-2013) - Credits

2012 stage adaptation of the 1981 Oscar-winning film of the same name. Written by playwright Mike Bartlett the show premiered in 2012 just before the start of the London Olympics.  The entire theatre was transformed into an Olympic stadium, so that audiences had the experience of being in the Olympic stands.

It was first shown at the Hampstead Theatre before transferring to the West End's Gielgud Theatre a month later and ran there until early 2013.

It starred Jack Lowden as Eric Liddell and James McArdle as Harold Abrahams, two young British athletes who overcame prejudice and personal strife to compete in the 1924 Paris Olympics, in the face of enormous odds. The story begins in 1919, and climaxes in the heartbreaks and triumphs of the 1924 Paris Olympics.

Gabriel Vick joined the cast in November 2012 playing the dual roles of Robin and HRH Prince of Wales.
