Comedy created by and starring Mackenzie Crook alongside Toby Smith as a pair of oddball, middle aged metal detectorists, who are members the Danebury Metal Detecting Club (DMDC), hoping to make their fortune by finding buried treasures in the Essex countryside. Winner of a Comedy.co.uk Award in 2014 for Best New TV Sitcom, and nominated for a number of BAFTA Awards as well as a BAFTA win in 2015 for 'Best Scripted Comedy'. Sophie Thompson starred as Sheila Seymour who is married to Terry, who runs the DMDC, and Laura Checkley also starred as Louise, a forthright member of the DMDC.
