2007 theatre adaptation of the 2001 film of the same name. Firstly ran at London's Bush Theatre before being transferred to the West End's Trafalgar Studios for a 12 week run.
Starred John Simm as mummy's boy Elling who, together with his roommate Kjell, take their first steps into the outside world having spent much of their previous years in an institution, with a mission to re-assimilate themselves into society. All they have to do is convince their social worker that they really are 'normal'.
John Simm was nominated for a Best Actor Olivier Award for his performance.
