Modern day version of Shakespeare's machiavellian tragedy directed by Trevor Nunn and starring Ben Whishaw as Hamlet. The production received rave reviews when it opened with one critic calling the production "masterful" and "one of the most talked about performances of Hamlet for many a decade". Also starred Samantha Whittaker, Nicholas Jones and Imogen Stubbs. 3 month run at the Old Vic in 2004.
