2024 off-Broadway production of Shakespeare's King Lear, directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh. The production previously ran in the West End in 2023, then transferred to The Shed’s Griffin Theatre, off Broadway in New York City for the autumn of 2024.
As well as playing the title role, Branagh also directed the play, which is produced in association with RADA. The rest of the cast is made up entirely of RADA graduates.
Saffron Coomber played Regan, King Lear's cruel middle daughter. Caleb Obediah played Albany, the compassionate and highly moral husband of Lear's eldest daughter, the murderous Goneril.
