Highly acclaimed award-winning production of the much loved musical comedy which ran at London's Playhouse Theatre from 2008-2010, winning an Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival.
It starred Douglas Hodge as Albin (who won an Olivier Best Actor in a Musical Award for his performance) and Dennis Lawson as Georges. They were replaced by a number of high profile stars during the show's 2 year run, including Graham Norton and John Barrowman.
The musical is set in a drag nightclub in St Tropez and tells the story of master of ceremonies Georges and his partner Albin AKA 'Zaza', the club's star performer, who live together above the club. However when Georges' 24-year old son Jean-Michel announces he is getting married, to the daughter of a local politician who wants to close drag clubs, things begin to get complicated, especially when Jean-Michel makes it clear that he doesn't want his future in-laws to know about Albin.
Gabriel Vick joined the cast as Jean-Michel in 2009 when John Barrowman took over the role of Albin/Zaza.
