BAFTA winning BBC comedy drama series about childhood sweethearts Celia and Alan, who, despite being widowed and in their seventies, re-connect and re-kindle their love after their grandchildren persuade them to go on Facebook.
Written by Sally Wainwright and starring Derek Jacobi and Anne Reid as Celia and Alan. Also starred Nicola Walker as Alan's daughter Gillian and Sarah Lancashire as Celia's daughter Caroline.
The show ran for 5 series. Sacha Dhawan starred in Series One as Paul, with whom Gillian had a relationship. Edward Ashley played William, Caroline's eldest son, in the first two series.
