BBC Two period drama about the revolutionary Bloomsbury Group starring James Norton and Rupert Penry-Jones. The Bloomsbury Group were a group of English writers, intellectuals and artists in the first half of the 20th century, including Virginia Woolf. The mini-series focused on the often fraught relationship between Virginia Woolf and her sister Vanessa Bell and their relationship with gay artist Duncan Grant (played by both Norton and Penry-Jones at different ages). Phoebe Fox played Vanessa Bell and Catherine McCormack played Virginia Woolf. James Northcote played author and psychoanalyst Adrian Stephens.
