BBC drama series based on the Noughts & Crosses novels by Malorie Blackman and set in an alternate history where black "Cross" people rule over white "Noughts”. The two main characters are Sephy (Masali Baduza) and Callum (Jack Rowan) who fall in love despite the odds being stacked against them as they attempt to breach the divide between the black elite and the white underclass.
Also stars Helen Baxendale and Jonathan Ajayi who played Lieutenant Lekan Baako, a military officer, Sephy's boyfriend and chief antagonist.
