The 2014 sequel to director John Boorman's 1987 critically acclaimed Golden Globe winning ‘Hope and Glory’. It was screened at the Directors' Fortnight section of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. The film is a coming of age film starring Callum Turner as 18 year old Bill who finds himself called up for National Service. The film follows him and fellow conscript Percy's romantic endeavours whilst dodging the ever-increasing demands of Sergeant Major Bradley (played by David Thewlis). Also starred Richard E. Grant.
