Queers - Credits

2017 BBC drama series directed and produced by Mark Gatiss. Each of the 8 episodes featured a different actor delivering a monologue portraying a different character in a different year, spanning most of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century.

It was created as part of the BBC's cycle "Gay Britannia" to mark the 50th anniversary of the passing of the Sexual Offences Act 1967.  Broadcast on BBC Four in the UK and on BBC America in the US. 

Gemma Whelan played Bobby, a woman posing as a gentleman in 1929, in episode 7 entitled 'A Perfect Gentleman'.  Other actors featured included Ben Whishaw, Russell Tovey and Alan Cumming.
