Feature length sequel to the long running Netflix drama series 'The Last Kingdom'. Also set in Anglo-Saxon England the film starts where the TV series left off at the end of Series 5 and is an epilogue to the show, covering the last novels in the series by Bernard Cornwell.
Much of the cast from the TV series starred in the film, including Alexander Dreymon as Uhtred of Bebbanburg and James Northcote as Aldhelm. Tom Christian played new character Dunstan, loosely based on the Archbishop of Canterbury at the time and who was later canonised as a saint.
