Six part award-winning BBC political drama, written by Paul Abbott. The series tells the story of a newspaper's investigation into the murder of a political researcher, and centres on the relationship between the leading journalist Cal McCaffrey (played by John Simm) and MP Stephen Collins (played by David Morrissey) who was the murdered woman's employer. Also starred James McAvoy, Kelly MacDonald and Bill Nighy.
The series was critically acclaimed and won a number of BAFTA Awards and nominations, including a Best Actor nomination for David Morrissey. It also won an RTS Award for Best Drama Serial.
