2019 production at the Donmar Warehouse of Mike Lew's play which re-sets Shakespeare's Richard III in an American high school.
The leading roles were both played by disabled actors, Daniel Monks who has hemiplegia played Richard and Ruth Madeley who is a wheelchair user played his best friend, Buck.
The story follows Richard, a clever 17-year-old, who decides to achieve the post of senior-year president by destroying his main opponent, Eddie, a popular high-school jock. Siena Kelly also starred as Anne Margaret, Eddie’s ex-girlfriend, who agrees to accompany Richard to the school dance.
Their performances were described by The Guardian as "outstanding".
