This production ran in January 2023 at London's Hampstead Theatre.
The play is written by Alexis Michalik and it won three Molière Awards when it premiered in 2014. Tells the stories of three different ‘magicians’ from three different time periods: The first, Robert-Houdin, who revolutionised the art of magic in the 18th century; the second, Georges Méliès, one of the first filmmakers at the turn of the 20th Century; and the final, a petty thief named December in 1984.
The new production stars Norah Lopez-Holden as Georges Méliès.
