Major 2024 reprisal of the much loved Ska musical which first premiered at the Theatre Royal Stratford East 20 years previously.
The show tells the story of 4 friends who arrive from the West Indies determined to make a success of themselves in a less-than-welcoming England. The young men make the bold decision to forswear wine and women for three whole years and devote themselves to their future in London. But their resolve is put to the test as the reality of life in chilly England, makes forgoing the warmth of female company hard to resist. The story is based on Shakespeare's 'Love's Labour's Lost', set during the Windrush era to a backdrop of memorable Ska musical numbers.
