2023 Channel 4 comedy drama series written by and starring comedian Bridget Christie.
The show follows the adventures of Linda who has an identity crisis when she hits 50 and is told she has started the menopause. So she escapes on her Triumph motorbike and undertakes a pilgrimage to 'find herself' around her old haunts in Gloucestershire's Forest of Dean, joining the Forest community and becoming one of the Eel Sisters who run the local cafe, serving eel, pie and mash.
The first series was nominated for a number of awards including a BAFTA nomination for Christie.
Series Two followed in 2025 and saw Linda having to own up to the lies she told to the Forest community and also sees the arrival of her husband Steve who comes to take her home.
Series Two also introduced a new character, another Eel Sister, Eel Sister Theresa, played by Laura Checkley. Recently released from jail, Theresa is a self-confessed witch who can speak with the birds, but is sceptical about Linda who’s clearly been causing ripples in her absence.
