BAFTA nominated BBC police drama series starring Martin Freeman as Chris Carson, a police first responder, who has recently been demoted from his position as an Inspector. He finds himself in a compromising situation when local drug dealer Carl Sweeney asks for his help with tracking down a stash of cocaine stolen by a local drug addict. Adelayo Adedayo also starred as rookie cop Rachel Hargreaves, earning a BAFTA nomination, as well as an RTS nomination, for her outstanding performance.
Faye McKeever starred as Carl's wife Jodie Sweeney.
The series received critical acclaim and was nominated for 6 BAFTA Awards.
A second series was released in 2024, which saw the return of all leading cast members including Martin Freeman, Adelayo Adedayo and Faye McKeever whose character Jodie is now running her husband's empire.
