2024 film about Victorian art dealer and blackmailer Charles Augustus Howell, which starred Edward Ashley as painter and poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti. It charted the art dealer's relationship with key figures during the pre-Raphaelite era, in particular Rossetti. Howell even convinced Rossetti to dig up the poems that he buried with his wife Elizabeth Siddal, so he could sell them.
The title of the film comes from Arthur Conan Doyle who made Howell a character in the Sherlock Holmes stories and christened him 'The Worst Man in London'.
It premiered as part of the Big Screen competition at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in January 2024.
