BBC One 3-part murder mystery released in 2025. Set on the English coast in 1936 it starred Angelica Houston as matriarch Lady Tressilian who invites her nephew, tennis star Nevile Strange (played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen) and his ex-wife Audrey to stay for the summer at her coastal estate.
Recently divorced, the former childhood sweethearts have unresolved business, and tensions are further heightened by the presence of Nevile's new wife Kay. A long-suffering lady’s companion, a mysterious gentleman’s valet, an exiled cousin with a grudge, a venerable family lawyer, an inquisitive orphan and a French con man are all added to the mix, leading inevitably to a murder. The official synopsis reads "An explosive love triangle, a formidable matriarch and a house party of enemies. All compelled… Towards Zero."
The series also stars Matthew Rhys as Inspector Leach who is called in to solve the murder.
Adam Hugill had a major role playing Mac, Nevile's mysterious and enigmatic gentleman's valet.
