2021 Czech film set in 1968 about Emil Zátopek, the greatest Czech athlete of all time. James Frecheville starred as Ron Clarke, the Australian running record holder who comes to Prague to meet his idol Zátopek in the hope that he can inspire him to win an Olympic medal. The film is about their dialogue during which we learn retrospectively about Zátopek's sport career and his life.
The film won a number of awards at the Czech Lions as well as a number of nominations on the independent film festival circuit including Palm Springs and Phoenix. It was selected as the Czech entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 2021 Academy Awards.
