Downton Abbey is to return to the big screen with a new film in the pipeline. Production has just started on the third film in the franchise which sees the return of all the main cast including Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt and Dominic West.
Arty Froushan has also been cast in a yet-to-be revealed role. He is best known for starring in House of the Dragon and Carnival Row.
The news was revealed today in this short video featuring the cast, with Michelle Dockery making the big announcement.
The new film will once again be written by Julian Fellowes and directed by Simon Curtis who directed the previous film, A New Era, No plot details have been revealed.
