Brigid Zengeni stars as lawyer Zoe Banda in all 6 episodes of Season Two of the psychological thriller 'The Secrets She Keeps'. The new season premieres tomorrow night, Saturday 13th August, on BBC One, with the whole season available on iPlayer at the same time.
The new series picks up two years after the dramatic events of Season One, with the show's synopsis saying that the episodes take place "two years after Agatha kidnapped Meghan’s baby Ben" and that "it is time for Agatha to be tried in court". The synopsis continues: "Meghan, Jack and their entire family have attempted to move on as best they could, but their lives have remained deeply affected by the trauma. A young investigative journalist, hungry to report on Agatha’s side of the story, hounds Meghan for information."
Brigid plays Zoe Banda, Agatha's lawyer who is trying to help Agatha keep her baby whilst in jail. Both Laura Carmichael and Jessica De Gouw return to their roles from Season One playing Agatha and Meghan respectively.
The first season was based on the book of the same name by Michael Robotham and although Season One concluded where the book finished, in Season Two it appears that the nightmare still isn't finished for Meghan.
