Disney+ has just released 'Werewolf By Night', a 52 minute television special, produced by Marvel Studios and based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.
Olivier Award winning actress Laura Donnelly stars as the female lead, Elsa Bloodstone, part of a family of monster hunters who is described by her father as "the greatest disappointment of his life. When her father, from who she is estranged, dies, she competes against 5 experienced monster hunters to find the new leader of the Bloodstones. One of the other competitors is Jack Russell (played by Gael García Bernal), a monster hunter who has been afflicted with a curse that turns him into a werewolf. The film is shot in black and white and exudes an "exceptional air of self-contained, '30s Art Deco horror elegance" (Mashable).
The TV special was released today, Friday 7th October. Watch the trailer.
