See Lorne MacFadyen in World War II thriller Operation Mincemeat, in cinemas now

The much anticipated World War II spy thriller Operation Mincemeat is released in cinemas today, Friday 15th April.  The film tells the true story of of a famous military deception leading up to the 1943 Allied invasion of Sicily.  British military forces tricked the Germans into defending Greece instead of Sicily by planting a corpse carrying fake documents.  

The star cast is led by Colin Firth alongside Kelly McDonald and Matthew MacFadyen.  Scottish actor Lorne MacFadyen will play Sergeant Roger Dearborn who is a key member of the Allied military team leading the deception. 

Lorne attended the film's premiere which took place last week at the Curzon Mayfair.
