Michelle Greenidge plays The Tacita in Kaos, Netflix's new dark comedy series based on the mythology of Ancient Greece, which is out today

Netflix's brand new series 'Kaos' premieres today, Thursday 29th August, and sees Jeff Goldblum starring as tracksuit-wearing Greek god Zeus, alongside a host of other stars.

The premise of the show is a reimagining of Greek mythology, set in the modern world.  Chaos ensues when king of the gods, Zeus, discovers a wrinkle on his forehead that he believes is a prophecy coming true, signalling the end of the gods' powerful reign.  Janet McTeer plays his wife, Hera, queen of the gods.

Michelle Greenidge has a major role playing The Tacita, the silent goddess of the dead.

The series also features many more major names including David Thewlis as Hades, Zeus' brother and king of the underworld, Rakie Ayola as Hades' wife Persephone and Killian Scott as the poet and musician Orpheus, portrayed in Kaos as a rock star.  Billie Piper and Eddie Izzard also feature in the series.

The show is written by The End of the F***ing World creator Charlie Covell.

★★★★★ "Hilarious, profound and moving: this fantasy series is an utter triumph. Its tale of Zeus and co living in the modern day is intelligent, twisty and action-packed." - The Guardian

★★★★ "Surely the most bonkers show it’s put out in a long time. The show is an explosion of creativity that practically seeps off the screen, punctuated by sharp bursts of wit and pathos." - The Standard

All 8 episodes are available on Netflix now. Watch the trailer.
