Michelle Greenidge will join the cast for the highly anticipated new series of Doctor Who

Michelle Greenidge, who is known worldwide for her roles in Afterlife and It's a Sin, has been announced as the latest addition to the cast for the next series of Doctor Who. No information has been released yet about the role she will play.

The new series, which will star Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor, is expected to premiere on BBC One over Christmas 2023.  Prior to that there will be 3 special episodes in November, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the beloved sci-fi show.  These will feature the return of David Tennant as the Doctor, and it's expected that the new cast will be introduced within these specials.

Both the specials and the new series will be under the banner of Russell T. Davies who will return as showrunner.   He praised the casting on his Instagram page, expressing delight at being reunited with Michelle, his "old-mate from It's a Sin".

Michelle Greenidge is available for voiceovers from Anthea Represents.  Click her image for her profile page and voiceover showreel.
