Samuel Barnett’s one-man hit show ‘Feeling Afraid as if Something Terrible is Going to Happen' opens at London’s Bush Theatre tonight

The hit Edinburgh play 'Feeling Afraid as if Something Terrible is Going to Happen' opens for the first time in London tonight.  The one-man sensation stars Samuel Barnett as a neurotic stand-up comedian who has decided to kill his boyfriend. 

Described as "a delightfully dark journey through self-awareness and self-sabotage as he decides whether love is worth the price of a killer punchline."

The play, written by Marcelo Dos Santos, was first performed in 2022 at the Edinburgh Fringe, winning numerous awards and five star reviews. Amongst its accolades the play won The Scotsman Fringe First Award and The Stage Edinburgh Award, with five star reviews galore.

The “razor sharp” (Scotsman) hit play is from the producers of the Olivier award-winning Baby Reindeer and the international smash-hit Fleabag, and is directed by Olivier award-winning Matthew Xia.
