Season One of La Brea told the epic story of a group of survivors who fell into the depths of the earth after a giant sinkhole opened up in Los Angeles. Season Two follows them as they continue their dangerous journey in the primeval land as they search for a way home.
Chiké Okonkwo is one of the leading cast members, playing Ty Coleman, a psychiatrist who is one of the survivors. Season Two promises to answer many of the questions from Season One, in particular how the survivors will reunite after one of the key characters, Josh, ended up going through a portal and finding himself in 1988.
The new 14-episode season premieres on NBC in the US tonight, Tuesday 27th September, almost a year to the day since Season One launched. A new episode will be released each week, and will also be availble to stream the next day on Peacock.
There is no official release date for the second season in the UK, after Season One aired on Channel 5 earlier this year. Season One is currently available to stream on Paramount Plus, via Prime.
