'Abused by Mum: The Ruby Franke Scandal' is a brand new Channel 5 documentary which premieres tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.
It tells the story of You Tube star Ruby Franke who was jailed earlier this year in Utah for child abuse. The documentary follows the sinister story from what initially appeared as a happy all-American family who starred on their You Tube channel '8 Passengers', through to its conclusion when her malnourished son escaped through a window with his arms and legs covered in duct tape begging for food and water from a neighbour. This was followed by an extensive police raid on her home where she was arrested and later sentenced to prison for the horrific abuse of her 6 children.
Star of 'Years and Years' and 'The Diplomat' T'Nia Miller narrates the documentary for Channel 5.
