Tom Christian stars as Philip in tonight and tomorrow's episodes of Silent Witness. The episodes will be shown on BBC One at 9pm this evening, concluding tomorrow night at the same time.
The two-parter is entitled 'Hearts of Darkness' and sees the Lyell team investigating a train crash and a man cut in half, which exposes deep rifts on a country estate. The BBC's synopsis reads, "Levelling-up leaders and environmental activists clash in a small town trying to look to the future. With a sabotaged train and a dead mayor, the activists become suspects."
Tom plays Philip, who along with his sister Frankie, lost their mother at a young age. Their father, Bob Stratton, wants to sell off the family estate at the insistence of an outsider for a new rail line. Frankie turns to activism to try and stop this while Philip is more concerned with keeping the family together and protecting his sister.
Both episodes will also be available on BBC iPlayer.
