ITV crime thriller 'Protection', starring Siobhan Finneran and Katherine Kelly, is released this Sunday, 16th March.
The 6-part drama series sees Finneran as DI Myles who finds herself at the centre of a major security breach within her witness protection unit when a protected family is brutally murdered in the supposed safety of their home. Determined to uncover the true source of the corruption within the unit, she stops at nothing to protect her reputation and keep the witnesses and her own family safe.
Tom Christian has a major role playing Detective Inspector Tommy Jardine, second in command in Major Investigations who works alongside Katherine Kelly's character DCI Hannah Wheatley. Jardine is almost too rigid when it comes to following the word of his superior officers. He’s very much an enforcer, applying pressure where needed to get results.
