Agness is a Zambian-American, Olivier Award winning Opera Singer and Actress. Hailed by the New York Times as “an Actress to watch and a mezzo-soprano force in the making with a gleaming voice and assured tone.”

She won her Olivier Award in 2019 for Outstanding Achievement in Opera and a SKY ARTS Southbank Award for Best Opera for her work in 'Porgy and Bess' with the English National Opera.

Recently Agness filmed with Steve McQueen on his 'Hands' project (2020) and she co-starred alongside Bukky Bakray in mental health independent film 'Self-Charm' directed by Ella Greenwood in 2021.
