Liz is a Californian-born & raised actress, improviser and stand-up comedian, based in London, who has received multiple recent nominations for her comedy performances, including being a finalist in the 2021 British Comedy Guide Pro Performance Awards and a nominee in the 2021 Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Awards. In 2019 she was a finalist in the Funny Women UK Awards and nominated for a BBC Radio 4 New Comedy Award. She was listed as one of 10 stand up comedians in Union Jack Radio's 'Ones to Watch' in 2022, nominated by some of the country's best promoters.
In 2022 she took her "funny, sunny and brilliant” and “hilariously relatable” stand-up show 'Geriatric Millennial’ to the Edinburgh Festival as part of the Free Fringe. One fan said,"Get there early to see this show, the room fills up fast and once you see it you'll understand why". A fellow comedian wrote that she is "so funny, deservedly packing out every day and getting an amazing response".
She is a member of ‘The Free Association’, which Time Out has dubbed "the improv comedy super group." During lockdown in July 2020, she performed in their new musical improv show ‘Starry Starry Eyes’ as part of NextUp Comedy Festival. She is also a member of ‘Summer Camp’, the Free Association's Queer improv team who were featured in a commercial campaign for Wrigley's in 2019. Liz makes regular appearances throughout the year in both Starry, Starry Eyes and Summer Camp shows at The Free Association's theatre in Haggerston, as well as in their residencies at Battersea Arts Centre, VAULT Festival, and 21 Soho.
Television highlights include CBBC’s Victorian drama series ‘Hetty Feather’, Channel 4’s ‘For the Love of Cars’ and most recently in HBO's hit sci-fi comedy series 'Avenue 5'.
Liz has an impressive vocal range, she sings and plays the piano too. She has a naturally upbeat & sunny Californian accent, but can also deliver an understated, wry comedic voice that she uses in her stand-up.
