Lola-Rose is an actor, writer, improviser and director. She's a series regular, playing Sarah across all 3 seasons of BBC/HBO Max’s 'Starstruck' and has been singled out as "hilarious" by Mashable and "merits spin off" by the Evening Standard.
Lola featured in mini series 'Down From London' (directed by Jim Archer) and more recently Daniel Kaluuya’s new feature film 'The Kitchen' which will air on Netflix in late 2023.
She is one of the most sought-after improvisers in the UK, performing regularly at Soho Theatre with her all-star team 'They Seem Nice' as well as in West End Theatres such as The Harold Pinter and The Royal Court, Largo in LA and Boom Chicago in Amsterdam.
Writing credits include Channel 4’s Rude Tube, a monologue which she won special mention for at Monologue Slam, as well as her short film 'Office Manager' which won Best Dark comedy in the Top Shorts competition 2020 and an honourable mention at London Comedy Short Film Festival in 2020. Lola currently has a horror comedy short in development with Objective Fiction about a woman who gets possessed by a coat.
She is best known for her sketches with comedy partner, Stevie Martin. They have gained over 30 million views across social media (5 million of which are on TikTok). As a duo, they are now directing commercials.
Lola-Rose grew up in South London and has a native Neutral accent with occasional hints of London. She is extremely versatile in accents and character voices which she has built up over many years using them in her improv work. Notable accents that she can do effortlessly are Birmingham, Australian, Yorkshire, West Country, Generic American, Southern States American, Irish and Spanish.
