New play by David Hare, first shown at Bath's Theatre Royal in 2025, and starring Miranda Raison as Ellen Terry opposite Ralph Fiennes who played Henry Irving.
Together they tell the extraordinary story of two of the greatest stars of the Victorian stage, who were loved and admired universally. The play also focuses on Ellen Terry's two children who also made a profound contribution to the development of British theatre.
The plays is directed by Jeremy Herrin who describes the play as a "love letter to theatre".
