2008 Oscar-nominated comedy film from writer/director Mike Leigh and starring Sally Hawkins as Poppy, a cheery North London school teacher and Eddie Marsan as Scott, her bad tempered, emotionally-repressed and cynical driving instructor.
He becomes increasingly agitated by Poppy's cheerful optimism and carefree attitude towards learning to drive and is particularly incensed by her inappropriate choice of footwear for driving lessons.
Sarah Niles played Tash, Poppy's flatmate and one of her close friends.
