2017 BBC One adaptation of the classic Evelyn Waugh novel about Oxford undergraduate Paul Pennyfeather who becomes a victim of the drunken tricks of the Bollinger Club and is expelled from the university for running through college grounds without his trousers on. He takes a job at Llanabba School, a private school in Wales, but is soon recruited by the wealthy and attractive mother of one of his students to teach her son during the holidays. Starring Jack Whitehall as Paul Pennyfeather and Eva Longoria as Margot Beste-Chetwynde, alongside Stephen Graham who played Philbrick the butler and David Suchet who played Dr Fagan, the headmaster of Llanabba School.
Gemma Whelan also starred as Diane 'Dingy' Fagan who is the favoured daughter of Dr Fagan, and used to getting her own way. Chiké Okonkwo played Margot's black lover Sebastian 'Chokey' Chalmondley.
