Set in Dublin in 1985, every parents' worst nightmare comes true when 3 children fail to return one evening from playing in the woods near their house. The police find one of the terrified children in the woods but he can't remember a thing. Twenty years later the same boy is a detective on the Dublin murder squad when a girl is found murdered in the same woods, and he finds himself investigating a murder with many similarities to what happened 20 years before.
