BAFTA nominated and RTS winning semi-autobiographical Channel 4 drama created by and starring Mae Martin as a fictionalised version of themself. Mae is a recovering addict and comedian who starts a romance with George, a repressed middle-class woman. Mae's addiction causes problems in their relationship, as does George's reluctance to come out to her friends and family about their relationship.
Charlotte Ritchie starred as George, with Lisa Kudrow playing Mae's mother Linda.
