Biographical BBC/Acorn TV legal drama series starring Andrew Buchan as pioneering 18th Century barrister William Garrow, who championed the rights of the accused against the state, introducing the concept of 'innocent until proven guilty'. The series was set around real 18th century legal cases which took place at the at the Old Bailey in London.
Each series was made up of 4 hour-long episodes and the show ran for 3 series between 2009-2011.
Aidan McArdle starred as Silvester, Garrow's main courtroom rival.
