National Theatre co-production with Theatr Clwyd and written by Laura Wade, the play tells the story of Judy, a 1950s housewife, and her quest to be the perfect wife. As her marriage starts to unravel it's not as easy as it seems. Katherine Parkinson starred as Judy, with Richard Harrington playing her husband Johnny. The play was sold out at its run at the National during the summer of 2018, and then transferred to the West End's Duke of York's Theatre for an additional 11 week run, with a small tour of theatres in Bath, Salford and Mold thereafter.
