Britbox 1920s period drama series set in the 1920s about a British family, the Ainsworths, who run a hotel in the Italian Riviera resort town of Portofino.
The series is set against the backdrop of the rise of Fascism in Italy and sees the family dealing with corruption and political turmoil alongside running the hotel.
First series was shown on Britbox (and subsequently ITV) in 2022, with a second series shown on U&Drama in 2023. In 2024 Series 3 launched on various streaming platforms including Apple TV+ and Prime.
Adam James had a major role as American arts dealer Jack Turner in Series 1, returning in Series 3.
