2016 ITV period drama set in the Yorkshire Dales in the 1870s, Jericho tells the story of a fictional shanty town which is built up around the construction of a railway viaduct, where the characters will live, thrive and die. The series primarily focused on Annie Quantain who is forced out of her home when her husband dies, leaving her penniless with two teenage children. Starring Jessica Raine, Samuel Bottomley and Hans Matheson. Amy James-Kelly played Martha Quantain, one of Annie's teenage children and Sophie Thompson played Lizzie Capstick who, together with her husband Joe, runs the town's tavern.
