ITVX four-part drama series which tells the true story of doomed Russian dissident Alexander Litvinenko. The series stars David Tennant as Alexander Litvinenko and Margarita Levieva as his widow Marina. Daniel Ryan stars as Peter Clarke, the Deputy Assistant Commissioner at the Met Police who led the investigation into his death. Neil Maskell and Mark Bonnar also star.
Litvinenko was a Russian Federal Security Services and KGB officer whose death, from polonium poisoning in November 2006, triggered one of the most complex and dangerous investigations in the history of the Metropolitan Police. The series also tells the story of Litvinenko's widow who fought tirelessly to persuade the British Government to acknowledge the role of the Russian state in her husband's death.
